Thriving in a Virtual World

What do I want out of this class?

As we all are aware the world we live in is undeniably virtual, and there is no way around it. Those who were once so afraid of jobs being taken over by computers must simply get over the fact and get with the program. In some way shape or form technology is centered around the daily tasks of any kind of labor force within the US. The key is to work alongside the machine, because we are not yet entirely reliant on artificial intelligence, we as humans must be present in order for the machine to do its job best. This is a bit ironic because this use to be the other way around at one point in time.

So what exactly is it that I want out of this class? I want to know how to go about making my contribution to this society, by working alongside the machine to achieve the end goal successfully. What we need to realize as individuals is that we are part of a bigger plan, a bigger kind of idea which is our society. There are nearly 324 million people in the US, and approx. 63% make up the work force. We work together everyday to make up what we know today as a society that functions, playing each part to make the clock tick. Like a screw in the inner-workings of a mechanical clock. The world works much like this way because although as individuals it is favorably believed that each of us is vastly important but this is not the case.
