CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is the program that pairs up with HTML to make it more apealing to the viewer of the website. Without HTML a browser would not be able to display the information or images. As in a house a foundation is needed in order to build a house, HTML is the foundation that is needed in order to properly build a website. The creation of HTML and CSS paved the way for the innovation that is what makes up the world wide web.
